Roxanne Cussen

Ryde Chiropractic and Complementary Therapies  was opened in 2005 by Principal Chiropractor and clinic manager, Roxanne Cussen.

Prior to training as a Chiropractor Roxanne gained a First Class Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Applied Sports Science from the University of Glamorgan in 2000, on finishing university Roxanne was drawn towards a career in Chiropractic, specifically the McTimoney technique having received the treatment herself following a bad fall from a horse in her teens. 
In 2001 Roxanne enrolled at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, she qualified in 2004 graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Chiropractic. 
Since qualifying Roxanne has continued to develop her skills, she regularly attends seminars and courses, with a specific interest in soft tissue techniques, muscle energy techniques and the treatment of headaches and migraines. Roxanne is also a qualified Epley manoeuvre practitioner for the treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). 
Roxanne is a professional member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA) and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the governing body that regulates all chiropractors in the UK.

Beth Caws is an Associate Chiropractor at Ryde Chiropractic & Complementary Therapies, she joined the clinic in 2014.

Beth completed AS Levels at Brockenhurst College before going on to gain qualifications in Indian Head Massage and Reflexology. Beth had wanted to be a chiropractor since she was at high school as she and her family had received McTimoney Chiropractic care for several years. 
Before starting the McTimoney Chiropractic course in Abingdon, Beth enrolled onto their access course, which gained her a qualification in ITEC Swedish massage, this allowed her to work as a remedial massage therapist while she completed her Chiropractic degree. Beth qualified in 2013 and graduated with a Masters degree in Chiropractic.
Since qualifying Beth has also undertaken further qualifications in muscle energy techniques and is a qualified Epley manoeuvre practitioner.

Beth is a professional member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association (MCA) and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the governing body that regulates all Chiropractors in the UK. 

Susie Hawley

Susie Hawley is an Associate Chiropractor at Ryde Chiropractic & Complementary Therapies, she joined the clinic in 2017.
 
After gaining a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from Cardiff University and a Master of Science degree from Heriot-Watt University Susie moved to the Isle of Wight to pursue her career in Coastal Management. She was drawn to the McTimoney technique due to its effectiveness in relieving her sports related injuries and decided to begin a new career as a McTimoney Chiropractor. 
She enrolled at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon in 2012 and graduated in 2016 with an Integrated Masters in Chiropractic. She has also been a qualified Swedish Body Massage practitioner since 2012.
